Weddings

Thank you for your interest in our historic house museum and grounds. We have had several weddings on our lawn and would love to work with you on your own special event.

For the wedding ceremony only, a fee of $600.00 will be charged for the use of the Calvin B. Taylor House Museum lawn. This includes a $100.00 security deposit that will be returned if there is no damage to the property and all terms of the agreement have been met.

For the reception only, a fee of $2000.00 is charged; this includes a $500.00 security deposit which will be returned if there is no property damage and the terms of the agreement have been met.

For both the ceremony and the reception on the lawn, the fee is $3000.00, which includes a $500.00 security deposit.

Although the interior of the museum will not be open for wedding guests, there is a small restroom and changing area available in our Harrison Room for the wedding party.

You would be responsible for providing chairs, etc. for the event and for clean-up.

We currently cannot install tents on the lawn due to our in-ground irrigation system, but we will be installing a deeper system and this may not be a problem.

Alcoholic beverages may be allowed on the lawn, if previously approved and if a Town permit is obtained by the Berlin Heritage Foundation for this specific event.

One of our board members will be on site that day in case there are any questions or concerns.
